Installation and Basic Configuration
Installation The installation of Synway GSM Gateway is very simple and
can be accomplished in minutes by following these steps: Connect the Synway GSM
Gateway to your PC via USB cable, and power it on Connect the GSM antenna to
the MMCX connector on the Synway GSM Gateway Connect the power cord to the
Synway GSM Gateway Wait for 2 minutes for the Synway GSM Gateway to boot up
Connect the Synway GSM Gateway to your PC via USB cable, and power it on
Connect the GSM antenna to the MMCX connector on the Synway GSM Gateway A window
will now open up containing the web interface for the Synway GSM Gateway, where you can configure
the gateway

System Configuration
Update the URL of the gateway to include the country
code of the country that you are configuring it in. http://gateway.synway.me.uk Click
on the Admin Login button. Log in using admin as the username and password as
the password. Once you have logged in, you will be greeted with a page that
says "Configuration". You will want to configure the system by
understanding the four steps mentioned below:
1. Setting up a service provider with an
account
2. Setting up a SIM
card
3. Allocating the SIM card to a service

Basic
configuration
The Synway GSM network gateway is not configured
by default. The user should setup the device in order to get the maximum
benefit out of it.
1. First, go to the
Synway GSM network gateway’s configuration panel.
2. Setting the SSID
to the desired name for your wireless network
3. Setting the key to the password for the
wireless network.
4. Setting the time zone to the time zone in
which you are located.
5. Setting the
Locate Server to the desired location for your device.
6. Setting the Locate Server password to an
appropriate password for this device.
7. Selecting the
desired method for obtaining synchronization
